Halfday excursion from Granada - Discover the beauty of the Tropical Coast and explore Motril and Salobreña.

A professional driver picks you up and transfer to Motril.

Motril was once one of the most important regions for sugar production from sugar cane. During a visit to a unique museum in Motril you will learn more about it the rich history behind this industry.

We then continue along the beautiful coastline of Motril and visit a remarkable property. VILLA ASTRIDA, once the vacation retreat of the former King of Belgium – often referred to as the King of all Belgians – is not only stunning but also serves as a tribute to a great politician.

Out next stop is Salobreña with its charming centre on top of a hill and an impressive Moorish castle with amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Nevada Mountain chain.

Once famous for its sugar cane, this is now known for its tropical fruit. Here grows a wide variety, including mango, avocados, dragon fruit, medlar, papaya, to name only some. We visit a plantation to see this firsthand.

Afterwards, transfer back to Granada.
