About Me – Your Private Guide in Granada

My name is Karin Kabrede, and I’ve been lucky enough to call Spain my home since 1994. What began as a short stay to improve my Spanish at the University of Granada turned into a life-changing experience. I fell in love with the culture, the language, the country – and above all, its people. So I stayed.

After completing a one-year language program at the University of Granada, I went on to study Tourism at the universities of Granada and Seville. Already during my studies, I began working as a tour guide, leading groups across Spain. Over the years, I’ve explored this country from north to south, captivated by its rich history, cultural diversity, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality.

In 2015, I became a licensed local guide, officially certified by the Andalusian government. Today, I specialize in private tours in and around Granada – sharing the city I’ve come to know and love with visitors from all over the world.
